Round 2:

Government of “Pays de rêve” observed that being a cash economy people are hoarding their ill-money in gunny bags also there is a lot of fake currency circulated in the market. This could have hurt the economy in future thus one month back the Government decided to go for the demonetization. Demonetization is a situation where the Central Bank of the country withdraws the old currency notes of certain denomination as an official mode of payment. The decision to discontinue $10 and $5 banknotes as a legal tender has led to common man waiting in long queues for new currency across various banks in the country. This scenario has lead the dire need of online payment methods for small to large businesses. Wise market players who already invested in technology to introduce online payment options and accepted plastic money are less bothered about demonetization but it is also not too late to invest in technological advances if you haven’t till now. Adding further, there are discussions in government that it might introduce GST in upcoming months still it has a long way to go.

In continuation with the previous case details, please note that your two year investment period has expired. If you had invested in the last round then you are back to the original values.

1.       If you had increased your operational expense by $1M in the last round to increase your capacity, then it is back to 1k customers per day in the beginning of this round

2.       If you had increased your operational expense by $1M in the last round to improve your profit margin by 10% then it is back to 30% overall margin in the beginning of this round

Additional information:

There are few changes in these two years as a customer demand and logistic cost have been increasing in the market.

1.       Operational expense of $ 0.5M is required  if you want to increase the capacity of store by 20%

2.       Operational expense of $1.5M is required if you want to increase profit margin by 10% by reducing operational cost.
